Send us an email or call and let us know what topics you are interested in and when you are available. If a class is full, your name will be placed on a standby list and you will be called in the event a currently enrolled student cancels.

Class schedules are subject to change.

Registration and payment is required at least 7 days prior to class start date. Call ahead to schedule a time for registration. After that date, the class will be made available to stand-bys. Course material is included in course fee and may be picked up at time of registration. MINIMUM OF 5 STUDENTS PER CLASS. Classes with less than 5 students enrolled 3 days before class time will be cancelled.

Unit 1. The Computer Mouse and Keyboard --- is for the beginner. Learn how to write simple notes, fill out forms and play Solitaire.        2 hours. Fee: $5

Unit 2. The Internet --- is the world at your fingertips. Learn how to surf the Internet, do searches, send email, get map directions and much more.        10 hours. Fee: $30

Unit 3. Managing Computer Information --- fills in voids for self-taught computer users. Learn to create files, organize with folders and save to drives.        10 hours. Fee: $35

Unit 3B. Applied File Management --- all hands-on exercises, reinforcing the concepts learned in Unit 3. Create, save, edit, download, find, files etc--        3-5 hours. Fee: $20




Unit 4. Word Processing --- covers Notepad, WordPad, MS Works and MS Word. Aimed for the home user, it covers standard letter writing and the construction of announcements and newsletters.        10 hours. Fee: $30




Unit 5. Computer Graphics --- deals with the nature of and production, editing, printing, storage and display of digital pictures.        10 hours. Fee: $30




Unit 6. Web Construction --- teaches you how to create a web site using the hypertext markup language (HTML). Appropriate for teens and up. Prerequisites: be able to create files & folders.        10 hours. Fee: $35




Unit 8. Web Design --- individual instruction to produce web pages, similar to Comped's, using understandable HTML coding and various advanced techniques.        Hours vary. Fee: $30

Student meets with Instructor to provide overview of desired
website. Future exchange of content and remarks between
instructor and student are handled via email or phone or by
appointment when necessary.

Unit 9. Computer Maintenance --- shows you some basic computer maintenance that helps to correct problems that cause computers to slow down and/or malfunction.        4 1/2 hours. Fee: $20




Unit 10. Intro to EBAY ---Learn to buy and sell on eBay.        3 hours. Fee: $15

MINIMUM 5 STUDENTS PER CLASS. Pre-registration and payment is required 3 days prior to class start date. Course materials are included. In the event the 5 student minimum is not met 3 days prior to start date, the class will be cancelled. A full refund will be made upon return of the course material. We regret any inconvenience.
